Every piece I create begins where I once found my only quiet: a small, still space where I could retreat from a world that felt overwhelming. As a child, I spent hours alone, learning early how to soothe myself when comfort wasn't offered. That instinct to create calm out of difficulty never left me.
When I lost my mother, grief took not only her, but also a business I had poured myself into. In the rebuilding that followed, I discovered that working with texture, scent, and light did for me what little else could, it slowed my mind and gave my hands something gentle to do. Candles, diffusers, room sprays, and textured art became my therapy before they became my craft.
Today, that craft is my brand. I make objects designed to bring stillness into a room and warmth into a home. But the vision reaches further than my own table. I want to empower the youth of South Africa with artistic gifts to unbury their talents and let the world see it.
